Santeri “Evil Knievel” Toppari entering Viking Cup again

Saku Purtilo is going for the Evil Knievel theme on his race suits, but last year, the first year Finland entered Viking Cup, another rider showed up in leathers that made the rest of us jealous. Santeri Toppari also young, upcoming and fast wasn’t only wearing the knievel inspired suit he was also riding to the limits in each heat keeping the crowd alert.

Toppari ended up on a total 9th place but that was over only two rounds and a crash in the final in Vetlanda while the rain messed up the track made it super slippery in the finales.

At Grenland in Norway, the last round of 2024 Toppari had a good go and ended up on fifth place just outside the top crowd of riders. We know that Toppari like most of the Finns use the winter for ice road racing so a year older, more experienced this rider is a little bit of a Joker and our guess is that # 565 for sure will be part of the top battle in the cup 2025 now confirmed for all three rounds.
