So much flat track this weekend
Both this weekend and next there seems to be a lot to choose between regardless if you wanna race, watch from a grand stand or just staying at home watching the tv.
In our own region Sweden is offering the last round of the Swedish flat track cup on September 13 including the national final in Pro 450 (only open for Swedish citizens). The race has 26 riders, Swedes and Norweigans, registered and 28 starts as well as three “knattar” kids under twelve years who is showing their skills. If you are all in to pre war then Hindenberg Speedway in Germany is what you should aim for on September 12-13. Lots of nice rides as well as cruel rods mixed up on this vintage event.
Wheels & Wake starting already on Thursday also in Germany offering both beach race challenge, a huge party with music, drinks and good vibes. Same organizer also offer the the last round of German Flat Track Cup 30 km away from the beach at Moorwinkelsdamm Speedway. This round will be raced in the evening of September 12. Two Swedes Conny Ivarsson and Mia Kristoffersson is entering as well as Norweigan Gunnar Solvang.
The real Flat Track Pros of Europe including Santiago Arangio from Argentina and Sammy Halbert from USA are gathered in Vasad in Hungary on September 13 for the fifth round of the FIM Flat Track World Championship. From our own region Saku Purtilo from Finland is entering, back from four weeks of rehab after two broken wrist.
And if you have time and money you can catch a flight an head over to Eldon USA to watch final round 17 of American Flat Track at Lake Ozarks Short Track.

And next weekend also offers some really great flat track events. In Finland Kaanaan Kahinat invites vintage bikes for a race day of great fun. UK having their final round of DTRA UK Flat track Championship at Greenfield which is a fantastic event and venue. This round is always special and not only offers extremly good racing but also riders from USA and this year Canada when Taia Little coming over to race the celebration of woman in motorsport. Even the speaker is a very familiar person. Scotty Deubler the voice of American Flat track is grabbing the mic and will guide the audience through the race days from the speaker booth. Both Czech Republic and Italy offers race as well.
