The weather forecast for Blijham Neatherlands didn’t look to well the days before race day, but as we know it can change and the weekend turned out well. The track was partly muddy and the organizer closed inner and outer of some parts that they probably considered dangerous.

Malene who is used to our Nordic weather didn’t mind.

– There where lots of water on the outside of the track which you had to stay away from but otherwise the track was really good and grippy, Malene says.

Malene has been signed up in the combined Pro / Intermediate Pro class in the Dutch Flat Track Cup but with a bunch of experience racing with the fast Finns in the Pro class in our own region a top spot in the Intermediate was again in her hands and she ended up on top of the podium.

Racing with the fast Finns means stay on top of your game. Malene in the middle of the crowd at Hells Race/ Viking Cup at Lunner Norway with the fastest of them all on the outside winner #116 Ossi Rantala and third #59 Olli Mäkele. Picture by Nikita Solenov.

Since the classes, Intermediate Pro and Pro, are ran togheter the riders get an overall of where they ends up in the total and Malene only got beaten by two Pro riders and on top the FIM WC-rider Menno Van Meer and Malene ended up on third place in the overall Pro / Intermediate Pro.

With this last race, two wins and a third place, Malene is the Dutch Flat Track Cup Intermediate Pro Champion 2025. A very well deserved title and an impressive achivement.

We like to send our congrats to her, she has had a fantastic season and we are already looking forward to whats to come!
